We brewed up this succulent, excellent, (Succu-excel-lent?) DDH Hazy DIPA in collaboration with our pals at Green Cheek Beer Co. It features a carefully selected assortment of our favorite hops including Sabro, Cryo Pop, Nelson, Riwaka and Galaxy.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Mix of tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, Nelson shows up but doesn't dominate, backed with juicy citrus, a touch of pine, a little coconut, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical and stone fruit, gooseberry, apricot, mango, peach, guava, passion fruit, white grape, and a hint of melon, some citrus, orange and lemon lime, coconut, a touch of pine, slightly grassy and floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Moderately full body, moderate carbonation, creamy chewy.
O: Getting tropical smoothie vibes from this one. I'm not usually big on Sabro because of the coconut flavor it brings, but it works nicely here. Still waiting to try my first Green Cheek beer, but this is another collab with them that's been very enjoyable.
(Unfortunately my allergies started acting up midway through this one so I didn't get the full experience, but I definitely enjoyed what was there.)
