Ever find yourself eating all of the orange bits in your carton of rainbow sherbet first? Yeah, us too. So, we made sure that this iteration of Sherburps checked all of the boxes. It features a balanced zip of acidity, a creamy decadent sweetness, easy going drinkability, and of course- a dazzling blast of orange flavor. But, not just any type of orange would be up to the task, so we chose Cara Cara oranges- known for their richness and depth of flavor, with a subtle berry-like tartness and floral aromatics. Have some fun digging out the nuance- or skip all of that and just enjoy the simple pleasures this beer delivers. Either way, you won’t have to worry about brain freeze- but all the grinning might just cramp up your cheeks.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that quickly settles out and leaves
S: Delightful mix of vanilla and juicy orange and tangerine, a touch floral, mild lactic tartness, faint earthy herbal tones, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.
T: Rich juicy orange/tangerine, vanilla, mild lactic tartness, light floral notes, super faint herbal undertones, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, mild carbonation, creamy smooth.
O: Probably the best orange creamsicle inspired beer I've had to date. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me this had lactose in it, but knowing ASB's prowess, I'm also not surprised that they were able to make it this smooth without it. Another winner in the Sherburps series.
