We all need a Little Lager in our life! Inspired by German Leichtbier (the German counterpart to American Light Lagers), this crisp, crushable gem is surprisingly big on flavor. Brewed with 100% California malted barley and wheat from our friends at Admiral Maltings and gently hopped with German Saphir hops and a dash of Czech Saaz, this little 3.2% crusher was built to meet all the desires of our brewers & cellar staff. Subtle ribbons of citrus, flowers and herbs wrap around a luminous core of honey and fresh cracked grain. Small and simple yes, but also sublime.

Awesome light beer - really tasty, light without being too light tasting, foamy head, and seasonable/fast flowing down the gullet, esp on a hot day. Nothing over the top or offensive about it. Could go well with breakfast/brunch!
Alvarado Street Pilsner is one of my favs too. Great brewery!

German-style Leichtbier
From the can this pours a thin, straw gold with generous foam. Right away I get a decent nose full of grass and straw. It’s subdued, but present. The sip follows, with a crispy snap and a drying finish. Full of flavor, low ABV. Why, I could drink this all day.
