A little while back our great buddies at Other Half dropped in not only to rip around with us on mountain bikes, but to brew up this delicious SICK Hazy ('Skazy') Double IPA. Double dry hopped? Triple dry hopped? How about HDHC? This soft, incredibly drinkable extra pale liquid is powered by Other Half's signature hopping method, High Density Hop Charge and is guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping!
Traditional T-90 hop pellets, lupulin-rich cryo hops, and Incognito (straight up concentrated hop extract) were added in multiple, carefully timed additions. So much flavor comes at you so quickly, that time seems to slow down. Imagine a cored out pineapple filled with ripe berries and sweet melon, spritzed with limeā¦floating in a pool of tropical fruit nectar. Get lost in the juice, friends. Keep your eyes up. Feel the flow. SURF THE DIRT!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Resinous, spicy pine, citrus, bubble gum, almost over ripe exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lime, lemon, and a hint of grapefruit, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, pineapple, gooseberry, passion fruit, guava, mango, peach, apricot, white grape, and a touch of melon, resinous pine, mild spice, a little bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: You knew when ASB and OH came together the results had to be good. I wish I knew exactly what hops they decided to go with, but I've got my guesses. Love how they can get the intensity up there without incurring a hop burn penalty.
