Pure-er hop juice in a can! Saturated with even more hop oils, this Hazy Double IPA takes everything you love about the original Cold Pressed Hazy IPA and boosts the juice to new heights. We doubled down on the dry hop load and added some thiol rich Phantasm powder in the mash to take full advantage of an expressive yeast strain. The result is our most insanely tropical brew to date.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus, tropical, orchard, and stone fruit, white grape, a touch of melon, a little spicy pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Mix of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, crisp peach, apricot, pulpy orange juice, ripe grapefruit, pineapple, white grape, lime, passion fruit, cherry, pear, and watermelon, a little spicy pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, moderately lively carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: I'm actually doing a side by side of Cold Pressed vs Colder Pressed. It's really fun to go back and forth between the two and see the differences. I think here the flavors listed on the can pop a bit more, plus you get the added complexity from the Phantasm. Definitely a worthy new big brother.
