We have doubled down on Citra, Baby! This Hazy Double IPA is bursting at the seams with all of the Citra goodness we have at our disposal. We are talkāin multiple lots of Citra T90, a huge shot of Citra Cryo, and also some Citra hop oil concentrate for good measure. Escape the heat and swim through its clouds of tangerine and mango. Get drenched in the downpour of pineapple, kiwi and watermelon they leave in their wake. Luxuriate in the silky mouthfeel and get lost in the compelling finish. Take a walk on the Citra side, Baby!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and
S: Big tropical and stone fruit, juicy ripe citrus, light melon, floral hints, a touch grassy and green (in a good way), biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, mango, pineapple, melon, and a hint of passion fruit, ripe citrus, orange and lemon lime, slightly floral, subtle grassy tones, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, pillowy soft on the palate.
O: Some of my favorite ASB beers have come from the Baby series so I had high hopes for this one. This one is good, but I don't think it quite reaches the "Wow" beer status like some of the others in this series. The body is delightfully smooth, especially for an 8.2% Imperial, and the nose brings it, but not enough hop intensity comes through in the taste as I would like. Hopefully they brew this one again so I can revisit it fresh off the line.
