Collaboration with Trillium & Haas
Here we have 586 (Whoops! Krush) featured in the context of an expressive fermentation. As expected, Krush complements the orchard fruit ester profile of our house hazy yeast, pushing its candied citrus notes to the forefront of the aromatics. Taking a queu from Trillium's masterful and pioneering New England IPA game, we've strived to replicate their brewery's velvety full-bodied mouthfeel.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Tropical and orchard fruit hits first, followed by ripe citrus, a touch of pine, light grassy notes, faint earthy tones, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Ripe tropical and orchard fruit, peach, apricot, pear, mango, guava, and a hint of passion fruit, juicy citrus, tangerine, lemon, and faint grapefruit, a touch of pine, underlying earthy slightly herbal notes, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: The conclusion with this one is much the same as it was with the original release of "My Name Is Also JC", although I think this edition came out a little better. I definitely prefer this to the West Coast "My Name Is Krush". The earthy herbal elements of Krush hops that I'm not the biggest fan of are far more subdued here and the fruity side gets to shine. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't turn down a pint if it was put in front of me.
