Due to this mishap, or um, happy accident, we are proud to present Oops! All Biggie's. Inspired by one of the most over the top breakfast cereals of our youth, this one of a kind, available for a limited time, Mixed Berry Imperial Sour Ale ain't no brunch bonanza/ It's a whole new kind of decadent fun. Featuring a blend of six berries (Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Marionberry, and Acai), this rich, velvety, flavor dense liquid is all about unadulterated joy.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy dull magenta with a frothy pale fuscia head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.
S: Big sweet jammy berries run the show, backed with lemony lactic tartness, crackery biscuity malt, and dare I say a hint of vanilla.
T: Lemony lactic tartness countered with plenty of jammy berries, raspberry, marionberry, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, and açai all show up, rounded out with a little crackery biscuity malt and a hint of vanilla.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy, but the acidity combines with the carbonation to keep it somewhat puckeringly crisp and away from being syrupy.
O: As I've said before, I'm a sucker for berries, so this was an instant grab for me. All the berry additions do come through, some more than others, and play nicely together. I think the only thing holding it back for me is the tartness level. ASB's fruited sours are usually pretty well balanced, but I think this one could be dialed back a notch. Still a fun one to try, and deceptively easy drinking for its size. I'd love to see a Bodacious version with lactose and vanilla.
