Collaboration with Green Cheek Beer Company
We dusted off our 56k modem from 1999, plugged that bad boy into a landline and fired off an email to our good friends down at Green Cheek Beer. Together we brewed up this sick Hazy Double and hit it with the whole shebang! Southern Hemisphere, Northern Hemisphere, advanced lupulin enriched hop products push flavors of mango, lime candies, sweet melons, tangerines, pineapple syrup and a sneaky herbaceous kick hiding in the background. Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Smells like a smoothie with a wild mix of exotic, tropical and stone fruit, melon, citrus, and berries, countered with resinous pine, spicy herbal notes, and floral hints, built on biscuity bready malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness.
T: Big time almost over ripe tropical and stone fruit, pineapple juice leads the way, followed by melon, apricot, strawberry, gooseberry, lychee, passion fruit, and mango, resinous pine, citrus, lime and tangerine, spicy herbal grassy notes, a touch floral, biscuity bready malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, somewhat mild carbonation, pillowy soft, toeing the line of becoming syrupy as it warms.
O: I'm dying to know what hops they threw at this one; I was slowly going crazy trying to pick apart all the flavors hiding in there. It felt like something new would pop out with every sip. The body is probably one of the softest I can remember having. I just wish it was a little less sweet. That kinda muddies the waters of some of the fruity notes and throws off the balance. It's good stuff, but it doesn't quite reach the next level for me.

Had You've Got Skaze poured from pint can, bottom stamped "CANNED ON 02/19/2025," and "DIAL-UP," into nonic pint.
Pours tangerine-juice orange and hazy, with 1-finger, creamy, near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving thick rings of lace down the glass. Herbal and barley aromas off pour, then continuing aromas of lime and fresh pineapple, and as warms a little sweet citrus aroma. On tasting, begins sweet melon, and bold pineapple, then nice, big biting lime, which carries through a little resin for a fresh, fruity, crispy finish.
A super hazy, wonderfully-hopped for a refreshing fruit experience, with a little earthiness to balance the continuing lime and resin bite.
