Inspired by the Southern German Pilsner style, this exceptionally pale lager is moderately bitter with a strong emphasis on Noble hops, which are layered gratuitously throughout the boiling process using German Spalter Select and Saphir hops. Striking a balance between assertive bitterness found in Northern German Pils and that of the lighter Bavarian staple, Helles, we've found Southern German Pils to tow the line of high drinkability while showcasing the delicate, fragrant qualities of the aforementioned hops. Tea-like, floral notes of geranium along with bergamot citrus are found in the aroma, lending just enough bitterness to cut through a low amount of residual malt sweetness for a dry, quickly fading finish. Pleasantly drinkable and sparkling with a fine hop bitterness.
