The vivid magenta hue and sweet aromas wafting from this beer are thanks to fresh puree rendered from well over two tons of cactus fruit. Hiding under their spiny exteriors is a unique flavor experience that brings to mind a blend of strawberry, watermelon, cherry, and raspberry. A mellow, almost hidden acidity, keeps things balanced and bright. Bit this beer isn't about all of these details. Honestly, it looks like fun and it tastes like summer—and we can't wait for you to try it.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours vibrant watermelon red with a frothy pale pink head that settles down to a thin layer somewhat quick and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Big hit of red fruit, strawberry, cherry, watermelon, and raspberry, balanced with lemony lactic tartness, and a little crackery biscuity malt.
T: Pleasant lemony lactic tartness, nice hit of ripe prickly pear giving notes of watermelon, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, and a little bubble gum, built on crackery biscuity malt.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, prickly moderate carbonation, dangerously drinkable for its size.
O: I'm always down to try prickly pear flavored things and this one delivers the goods. Nice balance of sweet and tart with some great fruity notes on display. Somewhat crisp, sneaky crushable for its size, quite refreshing on a warm day.
