A special collaboration with our great friend Robert Young, owner & Brewmaster of Tapped 33 out of Augusta, Georgia! A true Southern / West Coast hazy mash-up, inspired by Tapped 33's Good Googly Moogly Hazy IPA. Mosaic, Citra, and newly-named Dolcita (formerly HBC 1019) lead the way, serving up peach candy, pineapple, and a touch of coconut for piƱa colada vibes meets ripe stone fruit. A pinch of honey malt layers in richness to complement the fruit profile of the hops, while a slightly drier finish keeps it balanced and super drinkable.

Had Going Back to Cali poured from pint can, bottom stamped "CANNED ON 10/08/2025" and "BURP HOPS," into nonic pint.
Pours classic New England cloudy, rather than murky, light gold, with creamy 1-finger near-white head, which has excellent retention, leaving thick rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of pineapple and mild herbals off the pour, then growing lime and orange aromas, with a little coconut aroma, joined by aromas of pear and peach as warms. On tasting, begins sweet pear, over a smooth and creamy body, then huge peach, before big, bright lime interrupts, with lots of pineapple joining as warms, both carrying into a piney, still peachy, nicely bitter, drying, scintillating finish.
Be advised: this beer isn't true to any style, other than American Butt-Kicking IPA. Also, it's slightly peachier than I would prefer.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe candied tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a little pine, a bit floral, a touch of coconut, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, peach rings, pineapple, mango, apricot, passion fruit, melon, blueberry, and guava, citrus, orange, lemon, and grapefruit, pleasant touch of coconut, a little resinous pine, a bit floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: This might be the first beer featuring Dolcita that I've actually really enjoyed. That peach ring flavor comes through really nicely as well as a pleasant touch of coconut. There's plenty of citrus and pine to keep all that sweetness in check. Super tasty.
