The twenty second rendition of Motor Oil is a Nordic Pastry Stout brewed in collaboration with our stellar artisan neighbors at Ad Astra Bread Co on Alvarado Street. Built from a blend of fresh and barrel aged imperial stout, it draws inspiration from their highly celebrated cardamom buns, reimagined here in Scandinavian form, known for warm spice and citrus-bright aroma fresh from the hearth. This stout layers in cardamom, torched Ceylon cinnamon, Tahitian and Mexican vanilla beans, and a touch of bergamot over a complex and dense body. Deep, aromatic, and luxuriously smooth.

Canned on: ????????
Many thx to tacosandbeer for this can.
A - Dark brown / black pour with uber thin lacing and little to no carbonation.
S - Light cardamom and cinnamon with a light chocolate malt base.
T - Chocolate malt base gets trodden down with a wall of cinnamon and cardamom spice with some firm Bourbon backing. Ends on the spicy boozier side.
M - Big silky medium body with some viscosity like oil (go figure, right?). Light warming in the back of the throat.
O - Solid!
