Presentation: It was served on tap at Resurgence Brewing Company
Appearance: The body has a cloudy look and is a pale tan/yellow color. It was capped with a small white head which settles quickly. A small ring of foam just hangs on to the edge of the glass and makes a little slick lacing as I drink.
Smell: The aroma is very inviting and full of lemon and orange rind notes with grassy hops and wet hay. It's Belgian yeast notes add some classic light funk to the mix as well.
Taste / Palate: It has a light but firm body with a nice blend of wheat like malt and bready/cracker like malts setting down the base. A mild classic Belgian funk runs through out and then citrusy orange rind like hop notes and bitterness blend with some light wet hay notes in the finish. The finish is fairly dry and the palate is well balanced making it very drinkable.
