On tap at Resurgence Brewing Company in Buffalo, NY.
Pours a light amber color, unusual for a saison. There's about an inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells quite spiced, but in a good way. Cloves, cinnamon, and allspice mainly, with Belgian yeast and some citrus.
I was worried this would be overspiced, but it's subtle and not so in your face, and lets you appreciate the above-average saison underneath it. The yeast flavors, fruity and spicy, are dialed in, and not overpowering, there some citrusy hop bitterness, and all the aforementioned spices on top. Nicely done.
This one is fairly light bodied, with a crisp, clean mouthfeel, and a medium amount of carbonation.
