Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The brew pours a hazy yellow color with a one finger head of foam. The head fades slowly over time leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is heaviest of a tropical fruit smell of mango and tangerine, mixed with some grapefruit and pine. Along with these smells comes a touch of wheat and hay.
Taste - The taste begins with a bready malt flavor mixed with some grapefruit and a light tropical fruit of mango and tangerine. As the taste advances the malt amps up a bit, while the sweetness fades. At the same time some pine joins in, and with a touch of grass, one is left with a rather easy natured and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body is medium to light with a moderate carbonation as well. The feel is good for the abv making an easy drinker.
Overall - A nice easy drinking session.

An IPA I'll drink and have another. Not to shabby.

Hazy straw yellow in color with a very full bubbly head. Slow to break, and not much lacing visible. Smell is hop forward with the mosaic coming through nicely...nice tropical notes. Taste brings those tropicals through quite nicely, I get some grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit. Feel is nice, medium carbonation and a lighter body. The after taste makes you want more and more.
Damn nice session. I could see myself having a few of these on a Sunday during the game.

Got this along with nine others from JJ, completing an earlier trade. Had not heard of Resurgence, but after looking it up saw that it was a brewery out of Buffalo. Just about an hour and 15 minutes from the college I went to. Sweet.
Poured a straw hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled those juicy Mosaic hops up front. Also got lots of tropical notes in guava, papaya, sugary pineapple, grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. Very good smelling for a session. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, which was to be expected. Mosaic for sure, but tropical really dominates here. Guava, papaya, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, tropical fruit punch, mango and pear. A little bit of dankness in there, maybe some pine, too but mostly juicy tropical. (Taste - 4.00)
Light body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Wow. Pleasantly surprised with how good this session was. (Overall - 4.25)
