A classic English style beer that embraces balance. Mild fruitiness and floral hops blend seamlessly with biscuit and toffee malt characteristics. Approachability is key, enjoy this with a variety of cuisines.

An appealing caramel color with a frothy tan head that fades fast. The aroma is puzzling: some notes of dark fruit but there's something else there that I can't identify and do not like. The taste begins in decent fashion with a bit of dark fruit and toffee but the finish has this weird and distasteful metallic quality that really lingers. The texture is extremely crisp, which doesn't fit the style. I try to sample and support local breweries, and I've had a solid beer from this brewer, but this is the worst beer I've had in a long time.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 1 pint can on January 31, 2015. Look is ruby red with a thin head and spotty lacing. Smell is fruit, floral hops, biscuit and toffee malt aromas. Taste is fruit, floral hop notes with rich caramel and toffee malt flavors.

Lots of brewers try to replicate an English ESB, but this brewer nails it. Great aroma, malt flavor and it is all in the right proportion. Very good beer. This is not the beer style I typically drink, but would search this out again.
