Sweet Hedelfingen bottled 7/22/15. Pours a slightly hazy light pink color with almost pink head. Cherries, lots of tart cherries on the nose, some oak and some funk; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with plenty of nice tart cherries.

Look: beautiful red with nice fluffy white head that dissipated pretty quickly. Smell was slight cherry, some earthy funk, tart, and a hint of plum and lemon. Taste: slightly tart, expected more from smell, again slight cherry, had a medicinal quality and band-aid towards back end. Feel: acidic, drying, medium body.

Color is amazing on this one. Deep Red, beautiful. Smell was soft funk and tart cherries. Head dissipates quickly, but it stays carbed throughout the bottle. Taste is more subtle funk and tartness, followed by sweetness of the cherries. I was surprised by the tartness upfront and a bit of acidity. Nice Fruit Stand as always by Casey.

More tart than the cut, owing to more fruit.
