East Bank aged in a freshly dumped Brandy barrel! Big vanilla and fruity brandy grape in the nose. Some caramel sweet notes from the East Bank and used bourbon barrel. Full bodied and incredibly drinkable but complex at the same time.

This one pours a slightly hazy amber/orange-ish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like sweet grapey brandy, red wine, caramel, oak, citrus, and vanilla.
I think I liked the cognac version of this one a little bit better, as this one leans on the sweetness from the brandy barrel, and gets a little bit out of balance. That East Bank base is still excellent though, with honey sweetness, funky citrus, and white wine as well.
This is light bodied, with a sweet and clean mouthfeel, with not too much acidity to it.
I very much like the idea behind this series. East Bank is probably (definitely) the best beer that Casey does, so it's cool to see how the different barrels interact with a superior biere de miel.
