I have had this beer for a while. Luckily it aged well. Pours a dull reddish orange color with lots of carbonation. Not much of ahead, basically a ring of bubbles around he edges of the glass. Lots of bubbles coming up through the flute I drank it from. The main aspect of the beer is a sour tartness. Not unpleasant, certainly expected with a Flanders Red Ale. Some fruit in the nose...cherry definitely but I also noticed an apricot type aroma. Taste is similar, a strong sour/tart presence, some maltiness and the fruit - once again I got cherries and apricot. Did not notice any chocolate aroma. A little oak bitterness in the flavor, especially at the end. Mouthfeel is rich, malty, sour and bitter. Done just right. Great American take on the style.
