Not on the level of fuzzy baby ducks but a quality beer. Amazing smell but taste is lacking.

Picked up a 64oz growler this week at the brewery. Pours a nice golden color, very easy drinking. Reminds me of a Pale Ale.

A: hazy; dull gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a thin collar; very nice, long lasting, lacing;

S: grapefruit, herbal - like marijuana;

T: grapefruit for a moment, then herbal through the finish; moderate bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;

O: well made; something about the flavor and dryness doesn't work for me personally;

On tap at Cask Republic during New Haven Craft Beer Week, poured into a shaped pint glass. Comes out a hazy amber color, solid two finger head that tosses off some lacing. Big hop wallop on the nose, herbal and resinous. Great flavor, oily hoppiness, grapefruit rind, hints of fruit, malt backbone very subdued. Finishes extremely light and a hair dry, solid carbonation keeps the tongue refreshed for the next sip. Overall a very well executed pale ale.
