RIP Tyson Archimedes Montrucchio. Gone, but certainly not forgotten we brewed this kickass Red Ale for our fallen friend Tyson. As a tribute to the intensity with which he lived life we packed this beer with a sh*t ton of love and respect. From a grain bill comprised of 2-Row Pale, Crystal 75, Munich, Victory (that’s where the biscuityness comes from), and Chocolate malts, to a hop profile of Cascade and Mt. Hood, we didn’t pull any punches on this one. As a full bodied Red Ale that isn’t over the top, the Archimedes Red is our TCB go to beer, and is a constant reminder that we all need to be thankful for each new day with our friends and family. La Familia Por Vida!

On tap at June Lake Brewing
A: Pours reddish copper amber with a frothy tan head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Beautifully malty, toasty, bready, faint roasty notes, earthy, lightly floral, and rounded out with a bit of toffee sweetness.
T: Malty goodness, toasty, bready, earthy herbal notes, floral, slightly fruity, and toffee sweetness.
M: A bit on the Fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Solid red ale. Maybe just a touch darker and heavier than your average red, but it works. Perfect for a cool fall day.

Thanks for making a beer for a fallen bro! I like that. So I had this brew out of a growler that my buddy brought back from the brewery. I have to say, I really enjoyed it! Almost a Marzen feel to this Red Ale. The next time I roll up to the Eastern Sierra's and hang in the the Loop, I will make sure I drop in and say hi and have this brew again! Well done Jason & team!
