On tap at June Lake Brewing Co
A: Pours hazy peachy red-orange with a creamy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces very well.
S: Sweet caramel malt, kinda fruity, peachy maybe, toasty, and some citrus.
T: Grapefruit zest and pine, toasty, a bit spicy, fruity notes, and some caramel malt sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: It's hard to score this one. It comes off more like a big DIPA. There's not the bready dark sugary goodness I typically expect from this style. It does hide it's % well. It's certainly a different take on the style, but it's still a pretty respectable beer.

First of all, thanks to Justin for a preview of his gem. It's going to be released on Saturday and I leave on Friday. So very much appreciated to Sarah and Justin.
Pours a slightly hazy golden apricots hue. Very slight tightly packed foam head that slowly gives away to a lite lacing.
Smell is a balance of nuggety hops with biscuity malts, but here a warm hint of alcohol comes through. Kinda speaking to you, "I'm big, respect me."
In the mouth, it's a perfect DIPA, or Triple IPA. Perfect, or damn near perfect, blend of hops & biscuity malt. Crystal, Cascade, at Mt Hood hops abound.
Mouthfeel is solid.
Overall, I think of this as a DIPA/TIPA on steroids. And it delivers. Those of you in June Lake after July 31st are in for a treat.
