12oz bottle. Label states this beer is brewed in Potosi, WI. Etched on the bottle is '0233070558'.
Clear, deep amber colored body. Thin off white colored head with the pour, and this becomes an island and a thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, and green apple sour.
Taste is a mirror of the nose with flavors of toasted malt, caramel, and green apple sour. Sweetness from the caramel malt. Resonates late with a caramel apple, and this extends into the aftertaste. Slight spiciness but low bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth and tongue. Tangy from the caramel apple. Okay carbonation.
Likely contract brewed by Potosi Brewing, a brewer who is not highly regarded. Sweetness expands throughout the session.

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, WI. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with malt start and slight bitter finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

This is a 12oz. bottle poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. The pour was aggressive, I was able to muster a finger of nice tan froth that quickly settled to a thin tan cap with slight lacing. The lager is a deep amber, mostly clear, with above average carbonation.
The aroma is a nice sweet malty scent.
The flavor is a sweet caramel flavor after a somewhat bitter, slightly dry start and a bitter finish.
With my minimal knowledge, I would say this is a solid amber lager, easy to slip several down, nothing offensive, just solid.

A good effort from a young brewer, but not distinguished.
Looks like I've got an above average beer, but Smells offer not so much. Tastes are mostly malt (which I prefer), but it sits in the mouth with a not-so-good selection of hops.
My first from Pecatonica, part of the Potosi network; so I want to like them. I went on Pecatonica's site and discovered they brew in Wisconsin and have a taproom across the border in rural Illinois. What a disadvantage ! To have to deal with the State of Illinois ABC and not even get the benefit of all its people. Regardless, good luck to Pecatonica.

Served cold in a bottle and drank from bottle.
L=I didn't pout this, but it looked like a medium gold.
S=A bit of caramel perhaps.
T=Robust flavor...caramel, molasses, and black cherry came to mind.
F=Great mouthfeel...more of a session than not. Moderate carbonation.
O=I really enjoyed this beer (especially for $2)...I will likely seek this out again. Note: I had a bit of flatulence after this beer, but I do not know if the beer was a contributor to this or not.

Nice malty flavor but needs more bittering hop character. Way too sweet.

Aroma very nutty malts and caramel/toffee. The flavor is nutty malts, fruit/berries, mild/medium sweetness and a mix of tart and slightly dry in the finish.

Look: Rich, deep caramel color with slight cloudiness and a thin pale head that disappears quickly.
Smell: Sweet and very malty without any noticeable aroma of hops.
Taste: Interesting nutty toffee/coffee notes are soundly trounced by its cloying sweetness. The first sip brought to mind an overly sweet soft drink with no bite to balance on the back end. The "centennial hops" mentioned on the bottle were undetectable.
Feel: Light to medium carbonation with slightly heavy, syrupy feel.
Overall: Extremely sweet with some interesting flavors. Very easy-drinking but produced a hangover with only two bottles.

Fairly murky appearance.
Aroma is nutty and toasted, with touch of specialty malt fruitiness and caramel, and a hint of citrus.
Flavor is fairly sweet and almost cloying. Very worty, with caramel lingering. There's a nutty character and a lightly bitter finish that detract a bit from the sweetness, but that caramel is really the dominant flavor. A hint of citrus surfaces late.
If you like wort, you'll love this beer. Seems underattenuated, and lacks hop flavoring for an amber.

Appearance: Pours with a finger of rich creamy head which sustained throughout. The color is dark brown with some light shining through on the edges. Above average active carbonation for the style.
Smell: Bright toffee and caramel sweetness with a substantial body of grass and grains opens on the front. Grass and some airy malts make up the body. There is a slightly ashy aroma to the malt profile but does not distract too much.
Taste: Toffee and herbal hops on the front. Sugary sweetness and nutty, grainy malts are very potent on the body. That sweetness evens out a touch but is still very noticeable. Grass and grains finish it off.
Mouthfeel: Surprisingly crisp on the palate. Sweetness lingers throughout. Carbonation fits.
Overall: An alright beer in the end. Definitely a touch overly sweet, but nonetheless an easy drinker. Preferred the Nightfall front Pecotonica, but this one is worth a try.
