Sour session beer w. Earl Grey tea.
A collaboration with Lazarus Brewing, this sour summer beer is the perfect balance of tart, lemon, and tea. Great for a day on the mini-golf course or after you’ve finished the weekend yard work.

CAN:
"Sour summer beer with Earl Grey tea." $12.99 a sixer in Austin, TX.
Has an artificial flavoring bend to it, hitting hard on big bold notes of puckering meyer lemon and lemony acidity, root/earth/tea-like notes, iced tea, and even mango. Packs a lot of flavour into a 3.2% ABV beer, and it's rather intense for a beer billed as a Summer ale, but I can't help but dig it.
One of the more innovative Summer beers I've had of late. A bit pricey especially for its low ABV, but worth a go for those who like sourness and acidity.
High B- (3.48) / WORTHY

05/29/22 12 fl oz pull-tab can from the Party Barn, Austin, TX:
Iced tea. Lactobacillus smack. Acidic lemon. Sour twang.
Definitely a lactobacillus bombed budget sour, but it's one of the better versions of that I've tried. Earl Grey tea's presence could be dialed up to better effect...it really works well in this ale.
A splendid Summer crusher, if a bit of a pricey one.
Low B / GOOD

16 oz draft straight from the brewery (#2 of 4 in my flight)
*this is a collar with fellow ATX locals, Lazarus. this is made with earl grey tea
A: clear, dark gold body and an off-white head with extremely low retention
S: flowery earthy tea, light malty biscuit sweetness, kicked with lemony citrus
T: they describe this beer as being like an arnold palmer and they ain't wrong! lemony sweet citrus with an earthy root/tea bitter to balance it out. a nice malty backbone in there as well.
F: high carbonation, medium body. lush feeling with a light dry finish
Overall (personal opinion):
fantastic. an arnold palmer beer, with plenty of chill. you can sit and enjoy the complexity of this one if you should choose to do so, or just sip away.
