Copenhagen 27/10 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Can design is the usual Northern Powerhouse style with a drawing of happy bird gripping a Hop flower in its beak.
Pours opaque, hazy, milky, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as flimsy patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense and balanced on an edge between the sour and the bitter with a lighter sweet undertone. Unripe berries, hints of vinegar, Citrus and Grape fruit. Light odor of sweet, tropical fruit lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong fruity sourness with citric bitterness peeking in. Aftertaste reminds me of white wine. Sourish and with a dry finish.
Nice take on a quite sour IPA. More Sour than IPA.

True peach juice aspect with a thick head.
Aroma with notes of stone fruit and a pleasant and friendly background lemony sourness.
Rich flavor with loads of peach juice, green resin, passion fruit, spicy and floral hops, wheat, oats, lemon sourness and grapefruit. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Full juicy body with mild carbonation.
Mosaic Sour IPA would be a fair description for this brew. Quite interesting, bringing sour and hop heads to finish on a juicy pool.

Pours a hazy orange with high, soapy head.
Smell is hoppy and tart with notes of passionfruit, mango, pineapple and vanilla.
Taste is very much like the nose, with increased emphasis on the passionfruit. Adds a dash of orange and a nice citrus rind bitterness. Well balanced with a hint of sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice sour IPA. Not a huge fan of the style, but Northern Monk does it very well.
