Copenhagen 16/6 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can with the usual secretive monk and a lot of arcane symbols. This beer almost detonated splattering pink beer all over the place. So drinking it turned out to be a rescue mission.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - burgundy with a big pink head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet fruity odor of sweet forest berries and some tart, acerbic ones as well. Blackberries, raspberry. Tart gooseberries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, a little sticky, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and lingers for a while. Finish is tart and dry.
Quite the fruit bomb. But nicely balanced between the sweet berries and the tart sour ones.
