Poured a cloudy, golden-yellow color with a one finger white head of foam. It smelled tart -- lemon, salt and light wheat notes. It tasted tart and sour with a nice wheat backbone.

Nice, tart Berliner Weisse. Lemon and citrus, white pepper and light oak. Very light and refreshing with a quenching tart finish. Easier drinking than many Berliners.

Under appreciated a little bit I think, this is a good one, maybe a little more cereal malt forward than others, but I like it not being a one dimensional hot lacto sour beer. There is nice wheat and even toasted barley malt character to this, and it gives a little more balance and substance, even though it's still very pale in color and very easy to drink, just a cool wrinkle.ni get lemons and green apples with the lacto here, it's fruity in a nice way, tangy and tart, neither sweet nor caustically sour. Just the right finishing ph to it, just sour enough to be refreshing and dry, but not too much that is slows down rate of consumption at all. There is a little bit of a chalky texture here, not sure what that's from, but it is carbonated well enough to be quite lively. I have liked all the sour stuff I have had from these guys so far, it's all been different enough to stand out. This is a unique and crushable Berliner with a little more going on than we are accustomed to. Nicely done on the whole.

pours a pale golden, with a ton of foam to start. bit of haze to it, but easy to read through.

smells sour and funky, with hints of baseball card gum and maybe a touch of dough.

taste is acidic citrus and more of that dough.

well carbonated. that sourness really lingers.

it's ok, i guess. i think perhaps this is the wrong time of year to be putting one of these down, as it's still hovering around 0ยบ outside.

Bread dough, flowers, some banana in the aroma. Citrusy and floral. There is a somewhat herbal note. Sweet smelling. Fresh apples, graham cracker. Not much hop aroma.

Pours cloudy yellow with small white head but with decent retention and some lacing.

Tart and lemony upfront. Washes away quickly leaning more towards bread dough, banana, and a little bubblegum. Fresh juicy apples. Good clean acidity. Bready malts. Finishes with lingering fruits and bread dough.

Medium light body with medium carbonation. Would have liked more carbonation.

This is too malt forward and estery for berliner weiss, which I thought this was originally intended to be. But, reading the label, it seems more like they soured their hefeweizen. It's an enjoyable beer, but I feel like I'd enjoy it more if it was either more berliner weiss or hefeweizen-like.
