Handsome clear amber brew with an abundance of foam in the Blanche de Chambly goblet. Taste is sweeter and more malty than a typical Saison. But it has the usual cream of wheat taste with dried pears. Dry finish and tending to the mineral taste, even a bit metallic.
The Belgian flavors are quite strong. Aftertaste is dark and gummy with a faint astringency, I wouldn't call it bitterness. This is a decent quaffable Saison sort of brew. From the 16 oz can purchased t the big box store on the west coast.

Pours a clear golden color with a thick white foamy head. Head is quite lasting and sticks around. Not a ton of lacing.
Smell has notes of wheat, grain, yeast and a touch of pepper. Touch of sweetness on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with notes of wheat, grain, yeast and a peppery spice. There are also notes of citrus here from the hops Bitter hops on the finish that linger. A bit of sweetness is noted. semi dry finish that is cut down on by the sweetness.
Feel is a bit heavy almost oily. Id like this to be lighter for the style. Medium carbonation.
Overall its a solid saison - nothing that makes it stand out.

L: It pours brilliant gold permeated with streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 1" white foam cap with moderate retention.
S: It smells of fruit, light cracker, traces of banana, bubblegum and over ripe fruit.
T: Orange, a hint of tobacco, banana, bubble gum, citrus, traces of lemon and finishes dry and bitter. Yeast forward with medium high yeast flavors, medium to medium high hop bitterness, and medium low malt. The bitterness tends more towards quinine than citrus rind.
F: The beer is medium light, highly carbonated and crisp and dry.
O: Du Pounde is refreshing and easy to drink.

This beer pours a cloudy light gold color. The head is large, billowy, and leaves nice sticky lacing. The aroma is of lemons, hay, grass, lemongrass, and grains of paradise. The taste is similar to the aroma. The mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with high, refreshing carbonation. Overall, this is good beer that I would happily drink again.

Pours a clear, yellow colour. Not much to the aroma, just a bit of light yeasts. Tastes crisp and light, light malts, banana and fruit yeast, a bit of earthy hops, lingering funk.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of grasses and yeast. Slightly phenolic. Sweet toasted caramel flavor with a yeasty bite.
