From a 750mL crowler:
Appearance: Clear pale yellow, good head.
Smell: Nice smoky oak smell.
Taste: Hits with some ashy smoke right away, gives a little wheaty/bready note in the mid-palate, then finishes with a long-lasting smoke kick.
Overall: Man, I love smoky beers and this really hits the spot! Nice smoke flavor throughout, with a touch of wheat. If only there was a year-round grodziskie in 12oz cans here in MN, a guy can dream I suppose!

Grabbed a bottle at Zipps and trusted it'd be worth the price (it was). Wonderful balance between the smoke, funk, and wheat. The wild character is particularly impressive, reminding me of a bright lambic, but with a campfire character.

this is becoming one of my favorite styles, and also one of my favorite breweries in the twin cities. even if you dont liked smoked beer, you have to appreciate this one, as fine an example of the style as i have ever had from an american brewery, no kidding. its super light on the pour, a hazy matte pale yellow, short white head on top, extremely bubbly. aroma has a great smoke to it, not as heavy as some of the european takes on the style, but very earthy and forward. the tartness in the nose makes my mouth water, a really clean smelling kettle soured very light wheat base, cant wait to dive in! lemony lacto and a champagne note great my taste buds right away, not super sour, but there is a great pucker, bacterial and snappy. the smoke is right there too, an almost dry cocoa note with it which i dont understand but really like, dry wood, ashy but not acrid or bitter, and really distinctive. the effervescent carbonation makes it sing, and lightens the smoke. minimal body, but the wheat has a nice flavor, i like this being so low alcohol. enormously complex, there is a ton going on here, and the balance between acidity, smoke, and grain is really fantastic. loved this one, surprised its not getting more attention. better than a lot of the jester king smoked sours i have had...

Interesting aroma, with smoke, charred oak, lemon, vinegar, pepper and citrus. Taste is actually pretty similar, with the campfire smokiness lingering long after each sip. Body is very light, but crisp, dry, tart and refreshing as hell. Really easy drinking in the best way.

Straw hay color. White head.
This tastes like eating a sausage with kraut. Really cool, actually. Smoked and peated malts. Sour lemon citrus. Oak. Funky. Light dryness.
Very interesting, but I thought it was tasty. Worth a try.
