Got another great haul from Sam. Their website called it “We love Strata hops! Niko, our Head Brewer, says “It’s not very often that you are exposed to a new hop variety that really blows your socks off.” Get your socks blown off by Strata, our Strata-only DDH Hazy IPA.” Nice!
Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy layered lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Strata, grapefruit, pineapple, pine needle, berry and floral. About the same from the can with the addition of pear and even green apple. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Strata, grapefruit, pineapple, pine needle, grass, viney berry, dank weed, pear, apple and floral. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
May have underrated this just a bit, but outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)

16oz can from Tavour. Cloudy yellow golden body, sparse bubbly head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste is also citrusy, mostly grapefruit with astringent peel, some pineapple. Juicy, but thin.

Look:
Hazy golden color, very bright and topped with with a thick off white head, very fluffy, airy and open. The head eventually thins out after about a minute and retains its fluffiness creating a nice thick ring around the glass. The carbonation is plenty and creates a very interesting scene of white dots racing to the top.
Smell:
Strong citrus like grapefruit, lemon zest and orange zest hit you first, as you let it sit around more tropical fruits smells come through, mango, papaya, pineapple and kiwi.
taste:
More complex than the aroma, mildly bitter overall and carried through with hints of lemon zest, papaya, kiwi, mango, lime zest and mild smoky flavors almost like roasted banana.
Feel:
Full bodied, semi dry and very crispy at the same time, the crispiness fades as it hits the corners of your mouth, and the hops come out a bit more, creamy and smooth and the alcohol just hugs you mouth every second you drink it.
Overall:
A very nice IPA overall, one of the most complex one I've had so far very enjoyable and relaxing and very well displayed in a snifter.

Crowler. Hazy golden orange color. White head with lace.
Lots of tropical citrus fruit notes. Tangerine, orange, melon. Some mango. A bit of creaminess with a soft texture. Very nice hazy ipa that is way to drinkable for 8.6%.
