A very nice beer for the festive season. Beautiful yellow with a touch of pink, an aroma of absolutely lovely jammy cranberry sauce, and a nice tart taste with bright crackery malts, pleasant acidity, and a slight touch of cranberry.

The mouthfeel is frustratingly watery, and it really dampens the overall experience for me. Without that flaw I would give it a 4.5 or more, but it's that distracting that I have to knock it down

my pick this year for the thanksgiving table, a sensational wild cranberry ale with a ton of funk, high effervescence, and a nice tangy natural cranberry complexion. i have loved just about all the beer i have had from these guys so far, and even though these bottles of funky ones are expensive, they have been worth it so far in my experience with them. this one is really murky pink, almost a pepto bismol color at first, later a pale rose pink shade, then cloudier than that through the back half of the large bottle, which slowly pushes up an airy wild looking froth, definitely alive in the bottle here, not as refined looking as it could be, but the aroma and flavor leave very little to be desired in this. the aroma is super mature on the brett side, funky and weird, not normal cultured brett but something quite wild to me, hits of lambic-like iodine, a wet animal mustiness, and some hay and straw, really super rustic, and raw wheaty to me on the grain side. a little more sweetness to the cranberries than they usually give off in beer too it seems, a cherry note with the cranberry too, nice. the flavor is as yeast forward as the nose. sometimes in table sours i think of kettle sours, maybe wrongly, but i was instantly stoked how truly wild and maturely bretty this is, unexpected and awesome. the fruit is nice and tart, the funk is super high, even weird and random in this, which i like, and there is a lot of fluffy wheat and protein and earthy cereals at the base, quite complex overall, and it warms up well. the ferment is what makes this, much as the cranberries are identifiable as such and well dosed in here. the beer is rustic and not well refined it doesnt seem, feels almost thick for what it is, even with all the bubbles and light acidity, and it looks on the edge of unappealing and amateur, but the flavors are amazing, and if this has to be the vehicle for them, im fine with it. overall an enjoyable beer, and an easy large bottle to drink entirely by myself. i am loving what these guys do, especially with these funky styles. this was perfect for thanksgiving.

Appropriately shared with Thanksgiving dinner.

I probably bought Cranberry Table at The Beer Temple, my first from Three Magnets. And I want more!

Bottled in 2018 and poured from a capped 750ml, I got only a mild pfit and started to enter this saison's first rating. Then ever so quietly and without me noticing, this live ale started foaming and pushed out some cranberry residue. All good, but it served notice that I had the yeast of a master on hand.

I'm thinking this is a heady brewery. Although I needed a magnifying glass to read the label, the quotation from Ebenezer Howard and the thoughtfulness of how we meld country and town are still some key issues to how we improve life today.

As for how we eat and drink, this saison provides more direct answers. It is a master melding of brewing and the kitchen at Thanksgiving.

While not a great Looker or Smeller, I know I am getting a gently tart saison. There are a few grains here, but Tastes are totally integrated: fruity, but balanced sweet and tart. 5 IBU. A malt-heads dream, Cranberry Table cleans the palate for an assortment of cheeses and appetizers. I also saved some for meal and it made friends, too.

Interestingly, Three Magnets has a sophisticated menu and serves three meals. They pair appetizers with ales. While they also make most of their money on IPAs and then strong stouts, they experimented quite a bit with saisons and they show their skills in Cranberry Table.
