English style barleywine brewed with all Simpsons malt. Aged in Old Forester 1910 bourbon barrels for 3 years. Finished on a hefty amount of vanilla beans from West Papua Indonesia. Full of caramel and dark fruit notes with a smooth sweet finish.

Chocolate, toffee, and molasses, dark fruity raisins, floral vanilla, and a vanilla-bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with a very sweet raisin and dark fruit, subtle bourbon barrel finish. Compared to the adjunct free iteration, this one is a touch sweeter and a touch thinner on the palate IMO. Still good, but lacking the nuance that I look for in my BA Lyfe.
