Our Apple Ale is brewed with Apples from Richter's Orchard in Northport, Long island, New York State Certified barley, hops and our own proprietary yeast strain.

Clear orange body with a cream colored head. Crisp apple with belgian yeast starring in all aspects. Smell is bursting with the apple with bready yeast backing, where the taste has the tart apple pop then it joins into the very rustic yeast with slight ester. Simpler but delicious! Feel has that fruity and playfully tart pop before being carried by the yeast. A beer fit for normandy, would love to have on a wet spring day

I drink a lot of beer. I have probably had at least 75-100 styles of beer. I have easily drank over 1000 brands of beer. St. James Brewery, this - ale - kicks- ass!!!
Lucky. That's what I consider myself for having tried this brew. I would say this is definitely in my top 50 brews that I have ever had. I'm not even a big "fruity" beer guy. Pomme is extremely well balanced; mouth feel is pure nitro, despite the fact that it was NOT on nitro. The fruit is so beautifully blended into the mix that it is at once subtle but key in the beer's presentation. The play between apple and brett is outstanding. I tried to get a half growler of this after having a pint, but they would not sell it. I guess it's like liquid gold. I will be back to Hoptron tomorrow. Fan-Friggin-Tastic! I want several bottles of this.
