On tap at the brewery – San Clemente, CA

A: Pale straw gold with near perfect clarity. Tiny active bubbles stream upwards into a small paper-white pillow that slowly subsides to a thin film. Light dots and swaths of sticky lace are etched into the glass all the way down the drink.
S: Smell is comprised mostly of some grainy Pilsner malt with a floral hop backing. Lightly sweet and very similar to a honey scent in that matter. Has a dash of spice mixed in as well. Nice clean Lager yeast there and everything seems in good balance.
T: Flavors are a big step up from the nose with floral pine and spiced hops floating on a lovely cream like texture. I get this honey graham cracker malt firmness that lends in some vanilla like qualities. Completely smooth and creamy without becoming super grainy on the palate. A touch of alcohol spice presence gives into a crisp dry finish. This is incredibly refreshing and really well made.
M: The body is very light and crisp with a sprtizy carbonation on the palate. Touch of constricting hop bitterness midway. Crisp and dry with a very clean finish.
D: This is seriously one of the best American made Lagers I have come across yet. It is hoppy, light, crisp, and just totally refreshing. Really caught me off guard how good this is.
