Day old growler poured into a Trillium belcher glass. Very clear burnt orange color. Head is minimal at half a finger and bright white.
Smell is of darker citrus peel, maybe blood orange or possibly a ruby red grapefruit. Bright and hoppy!
Taste is much like the smell. Citrus peel, some pine. Some orange sweetness but bitter.
Feel is pretty spot on for the style, thin and bright. Finish is crisp and dry.
Overall I think this beer is spot on for a hoppy lager. Unique style that not may breweries are even atempting. Could drink this by the gallon come summer. Great job Dubina!!

Poured a clear, rich amber body with one finger of thick white head. Overall impression of appearance is of a very good, rich lager, quite nice. Scents of dank, vegetal herbal hops with onion notes, spicy hops and grapefruit peel and pith with some pine resin. Overall impression of aroma is of a nice hop-forward beer, not an IPA, too hoppy and clean, a nice IPL. Flavor begins quote hoppy, with notes of herbal, dank hops, grapefruit, peppery hops and citrus peel with some pine resin. Middle continues with an enhanced bitterness. Finish is dry with notes of grapefruit, dank, herbal hops, peppery hops and some floral hops, imparting a bitter flavor with a hoppy flavor. Aftertaste is grapefruit peel and grainy malt. Overall impression of flavor is of an excellent hop forward beer that imparts excellent flavors covering almost the full spectrum. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation and a drying feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a good IPL, true to form, quite nice. Overall this is an excellent IPL. The lagering makes it clean and allows the hops to show creating a nice aroma and flavor that showcases a wonderful character. An excellent beer.
