This beer pours a very dark brown from the growler. The head was 1 finger, tan, and dissipated quickly.
The nose is subtle, but I get a slight sweetness to it.
The taste is very pepper forward. I also get some chocolate notes. There's something else, but I'm not sure what, but it works with it. Maybe some other kinds of spices.
The beer feels pretty full bodied. Not watery in the least.
Overall, a delicious beer. Nice kick with the peppers in it. Well balanced with the chocolate.
