Slightly hazy burnt orange with a roughly fuzzy off-white blanket.

Smell is a funky spice with oak, citrus and vanilla.

Taste skirts an acetic sourness with funk, oak, nuts, and spiced orange.

This was that first nervous draft pour of ours at Huna Day while waiting in the ridiculous cluster for MBP. As such, the notes are a little more sparse than I'd prefer.

A big thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml corked and caged bottle into a Surly teku.

Nose is pretty fantastic. Hints of hay, oak, lemon, funk and vinegar. Nicely acidic but not overwhelmingly so. Beer opens almost gueuze-like. Notes of lemon, vinegar, plastic, hay and horse blanket. The blood orange provides a twinge of sweetness but is otherwise almost entirely absent. A light bitterness in the middle and finish. Like citrus rind. Incredibly sour throughout. Body is light with ample carbonation. Foamy and prickly on the palate and goes down messy and puckering with an intense aftertaste.

The nose and feel here are spot on but I wish the taste had just a little more balance.

This was very nice, but not exactly what i want. Tart with deep blood orange flavor, very nice carb level. There are elements of complexity, but its dominated by a one dimensional sour flavor.

Dark golden orange. White head.

The blood orange doesn't show very much. Nice sour and acidic flavors. Lemony. Tart. Green apples. Sweet tart flavored.

Light bodied. Nice carbobation. Ends clean.

Another nice tradeship. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite.
