Foggy burnt amber with a fluffy convex but short off-white head settling down to a thin ridged ring.
This has a bit of a crabapple and toasted seed flavor. Quite tart, the medium body has a bit of a chew to it that sticks to the palate in a dry cardboard sort of way on the way down. The watermelon is there but gives off a sort of gose flavor that's just continuously seedy with a sort of salinity.

Poured from a tall boy into a Weiss vase, the beer is a slightly hazed, golden coloring, with a thin, wispy, white head. Aromas of tart and sour lemon and white grape must, watermelon juice, and subtle yeasty funk. Smells very sour. Flavors are all watermelon forward, starting with a juice character that transitions into a sour and sweet jolly rancher watermelon. Subtle highlights of lemon add sweet and sour notes, and this all blends on a candy sweet backbone. Smooth and slick bodied, with a slight acidic edge. Tart and sour watermelon aftertaste, again like candy, with a subtle linger past the dry, slightly astringent finish. Really tasty beer.

16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of watermelon, yeast, some phenols, lemon acidity, and some grassy vegetal aromas. Tastes grainy and a little doughy. Lemon tartness with juicy watermelon sweetness. Wheat finish with some grassy flavors. Medium body. Well carbonated. Not bad. Grassy flavors are weird, though.
