Wild Card pours out looking like a candied mango golden nectar. It is cloudy and hazy. When opening the can you are greeted by an intense juice hop medley of citrus, pineapple, and mango on the nose and the taste is much the same. It has medium carbonation and great mouthfeel for the style - very thick and silty. Refreshing and sessionable. This is J Wakefield's best JPA (juice pale ale) in my opinion. Pure tropical juice with barely any bitter bite. Could see myself knocking a few back while playing dominoes and Slammin' Bones..
