L: A nice looking saison, good head, dark honey color
S: Big hefeweizen smell, cloves, banannas, the whole works. Spices are apparent, maybe pepper?
T: Hefeweizen taste with notes of basil and cucumber
F: A prickly and clean feel, perfect carb
O: IMO this doesn't take anything like a saison. It reminds me alot of a Kristalweizen. Its got big hefe taste but is slightly cleaner. I think this is a good beer but to call it a saison is a stretch to me. Still a good beer though.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, honey gold coloring, with a halo of foamy, off-white head. Nose of honey, basil, cut grass, pepper, caramel and a subtle yeast funk. Flavors are herbal forward, with caramel and lemon to follow. Smooth bodied, with an herbal and caramel sweet aftertaste. Smooth, slightly spiced finish. This is an interesting beer.

Tap at the brewery.
Pours a cloudy orange amber with a pillowy white head.
Aroma is of honey and a grassy and bready malt undertone.
Flavor is of honey and biscuit malt with a light floral and grassy hop finish.
Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very nice flavorful saison style beer. Very nice aroma on this one. A bit stronger and more hoppy than the average saison, but it works well.
