Had fresh (on tap) at Lincoln Park Zoo craft brews fundraiser (among some 45 other brewers.)
A pleasant saison-like (or maybe saison-lite describes it also.)
I largely agree with the review from Emerge077: give Cloudbuster more bubbles, malt and aroma.
I drink saisons mostly as accompaniment to food. (My bad, I was only eating pretzels.)
Cloudbuster has a seemingly simple yeast and is modestly spiced. So, it would be good with a light spring or summer dish.
Only my 2nd from them, Illuminated has been on the scene longer than I've been a BA member. Despite my laziness in seeking them out, I welcome another local brewery who specialize in the French-speaking beer/culinary culture.
Now, c'mon folks... how about a restaurant that pairs these saisons?

12 oz. draft served in a snifter at Bangers & Lace.
Bright saturated orange gold, initial compact head of foam, fades away quickly. Earthy aroma with a bare hint of Brett funk. Low bitterness, light funk and smooth malty feel with lower carbonation. Light citrus from the Jarrylo hops. Overall it's pretty good but could use a little more everything. Intensity, carbonation, aroma. Not bad though.
