Traditional German-style pilsner using a triple decoction mash, which delivers more flavor and body than you might find in your average American lager.

i did not hear these guys getting a lot of love from the locals when i was drinking beer all over town, but i really didnt see why when i went to check out the brewery, i liked just about all the beers i had, and was impressed with the authenticity of their german stuff as well as their innovation, nothing not to like here, and the place is rad! this is a very good pils, decoction mashed and full flavored, an absolutely maxed out grain character here which is awesome for such a pale malt, its mineral forward, dry and rustic, lightly doughy, and really showing well in the aroma and flavor here. the yeast also seems classic, patiently deployed, and fully developed, this is snappy crisp and fermented down close to zero i have to imagine. i was a little surprised at the subtlety of the hops in this, its almost mild in that regard, softly grassy with really low key bitterness, fresh yes, but mild in the dosage and leaving plenty of room for the yeast character in the finish. this is incredibly clean and even distinctive to me for being so true to style, a real impressive offering that deserves more local attention than it seems to be getting. this is the kind of beer that you dont fully appreciate or miss until its gone. approaching expert level.

Enjoyed from a can dated 2/11/20. Poured into a pint glass with moderate head. Dark straw yellow. Sweet malt nose with grassy undertones. Again sweet malt taste but very underscored. Slight hoppy goodness. Very drinkable. Will definitely try again.

Pretty good. I like it much better in the snowtime however. Poors good and has the best name for a ski beer! I would recomend this more so in the winter
