Brewed with a base of pilsner, this lager was loaded up with T90 Tangier from @segalhopranch. After a period of ice-cold lagering, John and Martin from Segal hooked us up with a bunch of freshly picked, wet Tangier that we rushed back to the brewery.
Within hours of being picked, we infused it on the cold side. We're stoked to continue using this hop going forward, and the fresh hop character of this lager really punches through with some sweet orange/creamsicle vibes.

On tap into a snifter at the brewery.

Pours a pale golden color with a soft bright white head.

Aroma is citrusy and herbal with notes of lemon and juicy orange.

Taste is a blend of pale biscuity malt and bright lemony hops. Extremely drinkable.

Mouthfeel is crisp and light, refreshing.

Overall a tasty beer that makes subtle but effective use of its featured ingredient.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. They usually don't date their cans, and this appears to be no exception.

Clear light yellow with a small, moderately coarse head. Medium carbonation. Smell is lagery, fruity, somewhere in the realm of unripe tangerines. Citrus rind, a hint of lemon zest.

Taste is lager yeast funk, grain, something wet-wood-like, noticeable but not dominant fresh hop bite. Bitterness is powerful, maybe a bit toward the medicinal and vegetable.

Mouthfeel is very light and quite prickly. Overall...it's good.
