Notes: We packed this beast with an absurd amount of Vic Secret, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops and the result is a juicy citrus, melon, and stone fruit burst of pure radness wrapped in a pillowy soft bundle of awesome.

Yellow hazy straw color. Pineapple, pine, melon aroma and taste. Has a bit more sweetness than a lot of the Drekker IPAs that usually seem to finish fairly bitter and dry for the style.

16oz can poured regularly into a 160z pint glass.
L: Pours a thick apricot hue with a semi-dense off-white light pale straw head. It is quite hazy. Some lacing.
S: Orange, pineapple, citrus.
T: Rather sweet then tart and lightly acidic with more sour fruit flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon zest and some pine. It is hop forward and fairly bitter and has a long, sweet, resinous finish. Very light malt throughout. No alcohol detected.
F: A bit sharp, firm at first then softens. It is not overly dry and has a med long finish. There is a mild chalky feel to it. It has a heavy mouthfeel and remains brisk throughout the pint.
O: A colorful array of firm fruit flavors here. Generously hopped, it has a luxurious IPA feel and is fairly easy drinking for it's ABV. Excellent.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. So I used to live in North Dakota (almost 20 years ago) and even though it was well before the craft boom, I never had a beer brewed in ND. Fast forward to now, and I am trying to find and drink a beer from every state and I came across this beauty! Opaque yellowish body with a foamy white head. Big juicy citrus and tropical fruit hop aroma: passion fruit, tangerine, grapefruit. Great meld of hop forward flavors in this one: passion fruit, grassy green hops, tangerine, grapefruit, melon, faint boysenberry, and some mild nutty oats. Full body, moderate carbonation, modest bitterness with dry piney oils coating the palate and drying it out on the finish. This was excellent!

No canned on date - c'mon Drekker!

Hazy Arnold Palmer hue with 1-2 fluffy white head with decent retention and lacing.

Lots of melon and blueberry with lemongrass notes.

Flavor is delicious but not terribly distinctive with a lot of honeydew and cantaloupe with strawberry and blueberry and lemongrass herbal. Low bitterness.

Soft slightly chalky feel with medium body and low carbonation.

A really good but not quite great NEIPA.

Drekker Freak Parade Double IPA, 8.2% ABV. Pours hazy light orange, with a three-finger white head that left slight lacing. Nose is sweet pineapple and orange, slight pine, juicy. Taste is orange, grapefruit, general fruitiness, and pine - moderately bitter. Excellent dry mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Pours a thick, hazy orange with soft, fine head.

Smell is juicy and very hoppy, with notes of mango, pineapple, vanilla and some sweetness.

Taste is exemplary. Juicy and tropical with a ton of hops, and notes of mango, peach, papaya and a hint of licorice. Soft but sturdy bitterness, and just the right amount of hop burn.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.

Overall, a superb NE DIPA.

Canned 11/1/21; drank 11/18/21 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a huge eggshell head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Dried mango, orange peel & mild wheat notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Dried mango, dry grass & dry wheat.

For a NE IPA this was real dry; not bitter, but dry. Decent enough but I've had my last.

16oz can served in a pint glass. Gift from @mr-jj. No visible date.

Pours hazy pale whitish-amber with a medium sized head and medium carbonation. Smell is fresh and bright and juicy.

Taste is right along the same lines, with a nice bitter finish. Kind of a textbook NEIPA.

Mouthfeel is creamy and rich. Overall, very good beer.

16oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy golden orange body, one finger white head, good retention, lots of lacing. Smell is passion fruit, tropical fruit and a bit of spicy herbal aromatics, mild caramel and a touch of floral and resin. Flavour follows, nice sweet caramel combined with a big hop aromatic presence makes for a fairly fruity and mildly bitter hop presence. Medium bodied, good carbonation, mild-moderate lingering bitterness that is by no means unpleasant. Easy to drink, relatively soft mouthfeel.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.

S: A sweet and lively aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, malt, melon, and stone fruit.

T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (barely a factor), some melon notes (quite light), lots of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), some stone fruit (peach, perhaps?), a moderate amount of hops, and a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple). A sweet, juicy, and bright flavor. Seems more like an NE IPA than a DIPA, but who cares? Quite tasty.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth, creamy finish. Medium-bodied.

O: An extremely enjoyable Drinkable.

Hazy, citrus juice looking body; thick and frothy white head. The smell exudes strong citrus fruit and rind notes; some orange and grapefruit. Tangy and juicy tasting beer; lemon and grapefruit dominate with a touch of orange; some bready malt notes; nice hop bitterness. Heavy body; velvety with some acidic offsets; dry and biting on the palate.

This beer does a fine job of balancing haze, juiciness and bitterness into an enjoyable NEIPA-like beer. While not quite unique or earth-shattering, it still delivers a powerful appeal.

Got in a trade with GreenBayBA. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.2%. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft, and not overly aggressive. Fantastic Vic Secret, El Dorado, Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great spelt/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example. A bit more resinous/drying than expected, but it smoothed out more as it warmed up.

Poured from a 16oz can into Trillium pub glass.

Look is an opaque yellowish orange juice with a thin white head.

Aroma smells like a pithy orange juice.

The taste has more of a tangerine note, lots of that tropical citrus.

So delicious.

Look: Pale golden straw in color. An eggshell head that once again fills my teku to the brim. It settles and starts to thin out after a few minutes, but leaves very thick strands of bubbly lace in its wake. The beer is opaque and there is no visible carbonation.

Smell: Tropical fruit mango and pineapple with notes of orange and lemon citrus, some orange creamsicle, faint hint of spearmint, an underlying earthy note that’s a bit garlic pulled straight from the ground with some dirt.

Taste: On the tip of the tongue this beer is citrus forward. Sweeter notes of orange, lemon and some lime. The thought of Sprite pops into my head. Not the feel of the soda, but rather that lemon/lime flavor. There is a nice bready note that adds another level.

Feel: This beer also dries out rather quickly, but with the higher ABV there is some more residual sweetness and bready malt notes that allow the dryness to work here. Semi-sweet beer. Maybe the dryness is just my palate today with these beers.

Overall: A very nice and smooth NEIPA that hits all the points.

This brew is one of the VERY few that are worth that $15-16 price-point for a 4-pack of 16oz cans. So supremely drinkable. So dangerously drinkable. There is a SLIGHT lack of complexity, which is why I give a 4.25 for taste rather than 5. But there is a smoothness & drinkability here that is quite unparalleled in the world of hazy doubles.
"Feel" would be a 6/5 if possible, because of the way it feels in the stomach. This is huge, and it's a parameter that I wish was discussed more often -- how does the beer sit in the stomach!? This can be rather independent of ABV, for I've had other 8% brews that sit in the stomach far less gracefully than this wonderful ale.
Hats off to Drekker for an impeccable ale. I love being able to find IPA's this creamy that don't actually have lactose in them.

Had on tap. First beer from North Dakota! Wahoo. And man is it a good one! The feel is so soft and juicy, goes down incredibly smooth. Smell has hops underlying, but hits you hard with the melon, orange, peach, mango, and flowers. Taste is less floral, more focusing on the melon, mango, and peach, with the orange, biscuit malt, pineapple, and I think lime, lying in wait. Appearance is hazy yellowish orange with white lacing on the glass

Super hazy yellow pour with a big white head.

Aroma is hop-heavy, juicy, big honeydew with some citrus nodes shining through. It's a good an interesting hop profile.

Tastes like it smells: big melon up front, berries and citrus in the middle, a bit grain sweetness on the back end and then a surprisingly dry finish. Not the most well-balanced of beer, but the hop profile is variegated and interested enough that it carries the beer all the way through. It's also remarkably smooth for an 8.2% ABV.

Pours a murky orange that shows hints of brown. Head formation is large, with nearly three fingers of khaki foam before a quick taper off to an easy pour. Head retention is fantastic. Aroma is tangerine, papaya, pineapple, and guava and dry biscuity, bready malts. Flavor profile is tangerine, papaya, and orange zest with light biscuity, bready malts. There is a flowery, budding papaya, mango at the finish, but it's cut short before it can bud to a full bloom. Mouth feel is chalky, carrying a noticeable graininess. It has a medium thickness. Overall, big Northeast IPA notes, but most are cut short before they can sing.

Pours an opaque dirty yellow that has a bright orange hue when held up to sunlight. The massive cream head refuses to recede and leaves great lacing. The aroma is soft ripe fruits, melons and citrus. Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found on can or on label.
Cloudy, opaque gold colored body. One finger puffy, white head settles to thick cap. Some webs of lacing left behind.
Aroma of tangerine, orange, pineapple, melon, and slight bready malt.
Taste is initially sweet, with tangerine, orange, peach, and pineapple, and at the end is slightly more bitter with citrus rind. Also has earthy and floral hops, along with sweet bread.
Medium mouth feel with good carbonation. Slight sting at the end, and dry.
One of the better Drekker beers I have had, with well balanced smells and tastes, and an appealing appearance for style.
