Notes:
We packed this beast with an absurd amount of Vic Secret, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops and the result is a juicy citrus, melon, and stone fruit burst of pure radness wrapped in a pillowy soft bundle of awesome.

Canned 1/10/22 (2 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5-10% clarity) medium but bright orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 6-7. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of dank orange, overripe pineapple and melon. Almost some bubblegum and yeast aromas.
Flavor: Strong flavors of overripe orange, pineapple, melon. Somewhat stanky like the fruit has been sitting out in the sun. Then some bubblegum and yeast on the finish.
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Some yeast lingers on the palate that almost feels prickly.
Compared to Drekker Garbage People 1/2023: Pours darker, hazier, brighter. More overripe fruit and yeast. Less juicy pineapple and grapes. Hazier, yeastier but less juicy.
Overall: Very nicely done NEIPA here. Strong overripe flavors that almost provide a stanky note to the orange, pineapple, and melon. The some yeast to dry the palate and allow it a somewhat prickly feel. Suppose that might be from the hoppiness as this beer is only two weeks out. Going to try it again after it ages a bit to see if that tames down and bit. (Rating: 4.04+)

Freak Parade pours a darker, hazy yellowish color, with a lager, long lasting head. Aroma is dry and filled with tropical fruits. Flavor is dry, with sweet tropical fruit, and a perfect mixture of bitterness. Lots of flavors masterfully put together. Good body and feel.

Canned on 11/1/2021. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a murky, dirty tangerine with a generous, foamy, milk-white head and thick, clinging lacing. The nose is fruity and fragrant with pineapple, ripe melon, and lemon, along with a whiff of vanilla. The taste follows the nose but the various flavors are more pronounced. There is abundant pineapple and ripe honeydew, along with a hint of berry and some tropical fruit notes from the Vic Secret hops. At mid-sip I detect tart citrus: lemon peel and a touch of grapefruit. The El Dorodo hops add clean bitterness toward the finish. It's nicely balanced. The mouth feel is great! Rich, creamy, and pillowy with pleasant carbonation. The 8.2% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Freak Parade is outstanding. And it's held up well at 8 weeks in the can. I'm glad to see Drekker IPAs here in New Jersey!

Yellow hazy straw color. Pineapple, pine, melon aroma and taste. Has a bit more sweetness than a lot of the Drekker IPAs that usually seem to finish fairly bitter and dry for the style.

16oz can poured regularly into a 160z pint glass.
L: Pours a thick apricot hue with a semi-dense off-white light pale straw head. It is quite hazy. Some lacing.
S: Orange, pineapple, citrus.
T: Rather sweet then tart and lightly acidic with more sour fruit flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon zest and some pine. It is hop forward and fairly bitter and has a long, sweet, resinous finish. Very light malt throughout. No alcohol detected.
F: A bit sharp, firm at first then softens. It is not overly dry and has a med long finish. There is a mild chalky feel to it. It has a heavy mouthfeel and remains brisk throughout the pint.
O: A colorful array of firm fruit flavors here. Generously hopped, it has a luxurious IPA feel and is fairly easy drinking for it's ABV. Excellent.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. So I used to live in North Dakota (almost 20 years ago) and even though it was well before the craft boom, I never had a beer brewed in ND. Fast forward to now, and I am trying to find and drink a beer from every state and I came across this beauty! Opaque yellowish body with a foamy white head. Big juicy citrus and tropical fruit hop aroma: passion fruit, tangerine, grapefruit. Great meld of hop forward flavors in this one: passion fruit, grassy green hops, tangerine, grapefruit, melon, faint boysenberry, and some mild nutty oats. Full body, moderate carbonation, modest bitterness with dry piney oils coating the palate and drying it out on the finish. This was excellent!

No canned on date - c'mon Drekker!
Hazy Arnold Palmer hue with 1-2 fluffy white head with decent retention and lacing.
Lots of melon and blueberry with lemongrass notes.
Flavor is delicious but not terribly distinctive with a lot of honeydew and cantaloupe with strawberry and blueberry and lemongrass herbal. Low bitterness.
Soft slightly chalky feel with medium body and low carbonation.
A really good but not quite great NEIPA.

Drekker Freak Parade Double IPA, 8.2% ABV. Pours hazy light orange, with a three-finger white head that left slight lacing. Nose is sweet pineapple and orange, slight pine, juicy. Taste is orange, grapefruit, general fruitiness, and pine - moderately bitter. Excellent dry mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Pours a thick, hazy orange with soft, fine head.
Smell is juicy and very hoppy, with notes of mango, pineapple, vanilla and some sweetness.
Taste is exemplary. Juicy and tropical with a ton of hops, and notes of mango, peach, papaya and a hint of licorice. Soft but sturdy bitterness, and just the right amount of hop burn.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.
Overall, a superb NE DIPA.

Canned 11/1/21; drank 11/18/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge eggshell head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Dried mango, orange peel & mild wheat notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dried mango, dry grass & dry wheat.
For a NE IPA this was real dry; not bitter, but dry. Decent enough but I've had my last.
