Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on August 30, 2019. Another addition to the Smoothie Sour Series. This one totes loads of fresh, tart raspberries and juicy, tropical passionfruit. Additions of Madagascar vanilla beans and lactose sugar round the finish.

This series was talked up by friends in Minneapolis, MN, so after moving away from the Drekker brewery, I managed to get my hands on this release while in town for a few days.
It poured smoothly with very little head and had a rosy, medium pink color. As it gets toward the end of a can, I swirl it gently to loosen the sediment at the bottom, which has a distinctly orangey, milky tinge. It's got a refreshing, juicy flavor and sour notes very reminiscent of a simple grapefruit juice; I could easily drink one of these with breakfast (don't judge me). It's not thick at all, and the lactose gives it just enough of a smooth finish. The aftertaste was fine, didn't fall off in an unpleasant manner. Overall, absolutely delicious, and I'm currently hoarding my last can. My precious. (Sours are much more rare in MT...)

Thanks, Sam!
Got this with another 10 from Sam. Really liked Ectogasm that I had a few days earlier. Can description on the front called it a raspberry/passionfruit/ smooth sour. Also an ale brewed with Raspberry, Passion Fruit, Salt, Lactose & Vanilla. Was going to be interesting.
Poured a hazy amber color (from the SRM scale, although my wife called it guava) with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy white head. Could see just a few bubble streams shooting up along the sides of the glass. Good watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled salty sea, vanilla, passion fruit, raspberry, creamy milk, lactose, slight vomit, black raspberry, mixed berry and blood orange. A lot different from the can, getting the Hallertau Blanc up front, followed by sea salt and passion fruit. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted similar to the nose, an interesting mix of salt and berry. Specifically got sea salt, raspberry milkshake, passion fruit, mixed berry, vanilla, blood orange, raspberry seeds and raspberry ice cream. (Taste - 4.25)
Light-to-medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was weird, but a pretty good beer overall. Really grew on me each sip. (Overall - 4.00)

This beer pours a bright rosy pink, the color of pin lemonade, with a quickly dissipating head. The aroma is of freeze dried raspberries, with a generic fruit rind quality. The flavor is bright, very sour, and juicy, with a load of freeze dried raspberry, and a hint of very sour passionfruit. The mouthfeel is light, bright, and fizzy. Overall this is a really tasty beer, near to top of this series for me. Not serious, mind you, but pure fun.
