This is the double dry hopped version of Freak Parade and it's right up there for the most hops we've ever put in a beer with just an absurd amount of Vic Secret, Mosaic, and El Dorado.

Canned 10/10/23 (2 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to dusky golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, lemon, grapefruit citrus. Some tropical pineapple and mango underneath. Light floral and pine notes. (4.00)
Flavor: flavors of grapefruit citrus, lemon citrus, pineapple. Some hint of mango underneath. Clean. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. A piney, clean bite off the end, moderate bitterness. Clean and dry. (4.75)
Compared to Drekker From The Feet Up 10/2023: Pours darker, hazier, similar head. Stronger aromas. More grapefruit citrus, pineapple, pine. Less smooth melon and oranges. Less tropical. Cleaner and more of a bite.
Compared to Phase 3 DDH Syncrophaser 10/2023: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More orange citrus, melon, pine. Less grapefruit and mango.
Compared to MORE Loose Candies 10/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Milder aromas. More grapefruit, mango, pine. Less tropical green fruit, flower, strawberry and peach. Dryer and more of a bite. Winner: Super Freak
to TG This Could Have Been An Email 11/2023: Similar pour. More grapefruit, pine. Less tropical fruit. Winner: Drekker
to Drekker Welcome To The End 11/2023: Pours similar, milder head. More grapefruit, tangerine, mango skins, and pine. Less smooth tropical orange, peach, cantaloupe melon, papaya.
Overall: Apparently it's a DDH of their Freak Parade IPA, which is a "world-class" IPA. So this should be even better right? I think the flavors are fantastic. Strong Citrus from the dry-hopping. A piney bite and bitterness off the end. Bet it will tame out within a few weeks. The dryness, cleanliness, and drinkability of this beer is incredible. (Rating: 4.13)

IPA New England

Mosaic, Vic Secret, and El Dorado debut in this fruity double dry-hopped IPA. Hovering around 38 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour created a creamy off-white one-finger head. Lacing on the glass was left after the slow dissipation. Pale amber with golden hues charts the color around SRM 8. Haziness persists throughout; some carbonation bubbles are visible on the sides.
I first smell ripe pineapple, peaches, passion fruit, and pears. Nosing the beer again, I detect cereal grains, wheat, lightly toasted malts, grass, and a slight herbal note. As I was nosing the beer several times, the beer was constantly evolving. I noticed loads of fruity aromas, morphing to the malt and grains, then finishing with a slight yeasty bread.
The hops gave this beer serious fruit vibes. During the first few sips, I taste pineapple, peaches, pineapple, oranges, and a hint of resin. The malt and grain profile holds up to the onslaught of hops. The grain bill is lightly toasted with oats and wheat notes.
The mouthfeel is soft yet astringent. A medium body with average carbonation and finishing bitter and dry.
Overall: I was not expecting to enjoy this hop bomb, but I did. The hop combination gave this beer a unique flavor. I do not think I would call this a New England IPA. It is just a hazy hop bomb done well.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. Unfortunately this can was a bit defective and somehow lost Carbonation....nevertheless it was still tasty. It poured a fruit smoothy thick grapefruit golden with no head and no lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright tropical citrus presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body but there was no carbonation....was like a firkin/cask condition from England. Overall it is a solid beer and my first from ND BABY!

Can. White head. Somewhat hazy golden orange color.
Melon, orange, honeydew. Floral and earthy hops. Some bitterness. More of an ipa than a NE ipa. Some tropical notes but a lot more hop forward notes.
