Drekker Blueberry Pancakes Slang Du Jour Sour a la Mode, 5% ABV. Pours opaque purple, with a big purple head, make of that what you will. Nose is blueberry pancakes. Taste is tart blueberry and pancake batter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Murky purple/maroon pour. 1.5 fingers of foamy purplish head leave loads of lacing.
S: Vanilla, maple, and blueberry. Fruit and cream.
T.F: Sweet... loads of blueberry and vanilla. Cream and maple syrup... fruity. Not much in the way of
'sour'. Lactose and a bit of cinnamon. Creamy mouthfeel... sticky. Smooth carbonation.
O: A very tasty dessert brew... loads of blueberry and vanilla. Not really a sour... but a lot of flavor to enjoy here.

Pours a hazy pink-purple color. A finger of pink/white head formation.
Nose is blueberry and cinnamon. Not much going on here.
Taste is strong maple, blueberry, and cinnamon. Everything comes to together here quite nicely. Does it remind me of Pancakes? No, not really. But is it enjoyable. Absolutely.
Mouthfeel is smooth with medium carbonation. Medium bodied.
Overall an enjoyable little gose. Certainly better than Omnipollo's Bianca Gose. But let's not point fingers. Good stuff.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on October 27, 2019. Brewed with blueberry, maple syrup, cinnamon, lactose, brown sugar and vanilla beans. Too much maple syrup for me.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a purplish color and a thick, viscous consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of blueberries, maple syrup, vanilla, lactose, and malt.
T: Tasted of a hint of cinnamon (a subtle presence), a good shot of maple syrup, light malt (mostly in the finish; very fleeting), a bit of lactose, some of the advertised blueberries, and a tinge of vanilla as well. Yep, it really does taste like blueberry pancakes. It's sweet, warm, and quite tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This beer probably won't appeal to everyone, but if you like pancakes, give it as shot.

16 oz can, no date, into Odell Teku
From last week's drop.
Pours a lit-up, neon-like purple colored body with a bubble gum pink head. Settles in at about 1 finger leaving abundant lace.
Aroma is vinegar. Burnt rubber. Slight pancake batter. I'm trying for more but I can't get anything else.
Flavor is, wow...it's pretty bad. Worse than expected, I need a moment. Tons of burnt rubber here. Once that's out of the way, you get sour pickles, maple powder, pancake batter, vinegar, and acetone. The blueberry pancake experience is in there, but it's a terrible one. It's hopelessly buried under clorophenols. Puke.
Feel is smooth, with a clinging feel, very thick, slightly under carbonated.
Overall, a practical joke to the palate. An overpriced POS.

Pours a deep hazy mauve with a purple tinged head that recedes to a thin foamy skein. Very attractive.
Smells deliciously of unripe dark berries with a faint vanilla undertone that’s reminiscent of fresh blackberry tarts.
Taste. Wow. This has layers of flavor. Sipping it now reveals an astringent dual attack of zippy carbonation and tart dark berries right up front balanced by a middle palate distinct blueberry-maple syrup sweetness rolling across the tongue. Fades into a lingering tart berry finish. A hefty body carries this flavorful beast well with a distinct soft on the palate and filling presence.
Blueberry Pancakes? Yes! That’s all summed up! But it’s so subtle that I’m just impressed. Brown sugar too, says the label. Yeah that’s probably in there.
Delicious. Tart. Sweet. Balanced. Flavors. Luscious body.
Well done.
