Drekker Passionfruit Hibiscus Secret Handshake Milkshake IPA, 7.5% ABV. Pours a gawdawful hazy orangish brown with a one finger white head that left no lacing. Nose is fruity and flowery. Taste is tangy fruit, slightly sweet, slight to moderate bitterness. Excellent smooth mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Ii is best if I let an IPA expert/lover give this the first serious review.
But ... when adding this beer, I selected the NEIPA style as I associate it with this milkshake/lactose trend.
And since the brewer has a Secret Handshake series, I start that as name and the flavor follows. (This is different than the other in the series that is on BA now.) Explanation enough. Hope it helps.
Looks are not impressive (no lasting foam), but the color is vaguely intriguing. Smells are spot-on for how I know the style, tropical fruit medley. Tastes are the same. Also typical, there is a citric rind after-taste and finish that distracts from an otherwise refreshing ale. At 7.5% I expected Handshake to be a bit fuller in the mouth, but it is chewy enough.
As for a quickie brewer review... Drekker is young; but having fun and giving Fargo a dimension it has not had enough of in the past. So, all is good enough... as I move on to styles more familiar and brewers unknown to me. My first from ND.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
