Braaaaaaaains - Blueberry, Pomegranate & Plum

Looks like a fruit smoothie, lighter purple reddish body, thick pulp. Fairly nice tart fruit. The blueberry is fairly tame, and there is a fair bit of stonefruit and pomegranate. Medium acetic acidity, not as pulpy as some of the others in the series. Nevertheless, thick with a dark fruit and stone fruit-forward finish.

Ordered from Tavour in a six pack (yeah its that good). Chilled this and we are writing the review on the last one drinking in sadness. We poured this beautiful beer in our trusty imperial pint glass.

Look: dark purple/plum color with a finger size pink head that eventually dissipated and left a nice small pink foam on the glass. The lacing was of foam and puréed fruit that hung around through the last sip. So much yummy fruit hanging around like a true smoothy.
Smell: light blueberry, plum and candy sweetness with some vanilla.
Taste: candy-like fruit roll up flavors... sour blueberry dominates with the plum, with training mild fruit flavors and lingering vanilla.
Feel: full mouthfeel with a tickle of carbonation. Sour note and the lactose add to the full feeling.

Overall we think this is one of the best braaaaaaaains additions for Drekker. The fruit smoothy notes in this one is more like candy than it is a swig of beer. The vanilla, blueberry and plum, combined with the lactose provides a great mouthfeel, true fruit smoothy with a super drinkable, well hidden 8.1 ABV. This is one of our favorite smoothy beer!

Pours a thick purple black cherry color. Smell is blueberry mostly anb then plum. Taste is fresh blueberries and plum with cranberry like notes and some vanilla, very good. Mouth feel is all fresh fruit with some tartness from the pomegranate a dash of salt bitterness in the finish.. Drekker is the gold standard for fruited sours.
